ZEISS OPMI LUMERA® 700 microscope for every procedure

The ZEISS CALLISTO eye® navigation system projects information directly into the surgical field in the correct physiological shape, without distortion or curvature. Thanks to navigation, cataract surgery is precise and fast.
At the iClinic eye clinic, surgery using the latest-generation ZEISS CALLISTO eye® navigation system is included as standard in the price of the operation, with no additional charges.

Incision/LRI Assistant
The navigated incision helps the surgeon achieve a precise incision position and size, thus ensuring a high level of safety and improving the result.

Capsulorhexis Assistant
Sets the precise shape and size of the capsulorhexis and aligns the IOL along the optical axis of the patient's eye.

Z ALIGN® – Toric Assistant
Using the reference axis obtained from the IOLMaster and the target axis in the microscope, precise toric IOL alignment is achieved without corneal markings.

K TRACK®
Visualises corneal curvature in combination with a keratoscope, e.g. in corneal transplants.
A breakthrough is the so-called red reflex: light reflected from the retina creates a highly stable red reflex, making the anatomical structures of the patient's eye clearer than ever before. This revolutionary illumination technology is also unique in that very little light is needed to create the red reflex. In practice, this means less strain (stress) on the light-sensitive cells of the retina.
OPMI LUMERA® 700 is used in several types of surgery – cataract and glaucoma surgery, corneal surgery and retinal surgery.
What makes OPMI LUMERA® 700 unique
- the structures of the operated eye are perfectly visible in depth and in every detail, even in advanced cataract,
- sharp, detailed images are made possible by the special “retina” system, which at the same time protects against excessive light exposure,
- integrated keratoscope – visualises corneal astigmatism without additional devices,
- the integrated video camera serves as a verification aid and can also be used to take images during examinations,
- touch-screen control of the monitor makes the device easier to operate,
- the ergonomic design provides freedom of movement and easy access to all functions, and also allows the microscope to be used in smaller operating theatres,
- a new feature is foot control of the microscope's control panel – convenient and at the same time reliable.
