This means that the new operating method ReLEx SMILE PRO with VISUMAX 800 will take only 10 seconds. It is something incredible for both surgeons and patients. Everything is actually done before the doctor can say anything.

Femtosecond laser procedure is fast, painless and safe

A femtosecond laser will perform most of the procedure. In a few seconds, it creates an incision in the cornea of only two to three millimeters. The doctor then removes a part of the cornea in the shape of a small disk through this incision. This part contains diopters or astigmatism that need to be removed. The cornea thus remains firm and whole. The procedure is very gentle and the patient can function normally in the evening on the day of the procedure. He can play sports again seven days after the operation.
