Fraudulent e-mails misusing the name of the iClinic eye clinic – be careful!
In recent days, we have received information about fraudulent e-mails that pretend to be our communication and try to misuse the good name of the iClinic eye clinic. However, this is a case of fraud that may result in the misuse of your personal data. We want to alert you to this situation and provide important advice on how to protect yourself against these frauds.

The fraudster, most often posing as a woman, pretends to be an ophthalmologist, an employee of our eye clinic. In the e-mail, she claims to have obtained the contact from the Azet forum and mentions the training of interns and her plan to live in Slovakia. The aim of these messages is to gain your trust by asking personal questions (questions about where you live, hospitals in your area, etc.) or through a request for “friendship”. To increase credibility, she also adds fake and edited photographs with the iClinic logo and invented information about her work.
1.) Check the e-mail address: All our official e-mails come exclusively from an address ending in “@iclinic.sk”.
2.) Look at our team: A complete and up-to-date list of our doctors is available on our website https://www.iclinic.sk/lekarsky-tim.
3.) Verify our address: iClinic has two sites – in Bratislava and in Banská Bystrica. You can find details at https://www.iclinic.sk/kontakt.
The iClinic eye clinic strongly distances itself from these fraudulent e-mails and will take all possible steps to protect its name. We urge the public to be cautious and not to hesitate to contact us in case of any doubts.
